A Chinese
woman attempted suicide after her fiance abruptly called off their marriage on
their wedding day when she was already dressed in her father's house, waiting
for the ride that should have taken her to the wedding venue.
Her fiance
called her on the phone and dropped the bombshell.
She
couldn't take the humiliation. Still in her wedding gown, the lady tried to
kill herself by jumping out of the window from her room in a 7-floor building.
Fortunately,
as she jumped, a friend caught her by the wedding gown from the window and saved
her.
