Victoria
Beckham is a New York Fashion Week designer with customers around the world
vying for a piece of her collection – but even she makes fashion faux pas
sometimes.
The
39-year-old Brit donned a bizarre lacy nightie to cheer on Andy Murray at the Wimbledon final yesterday.
She raised
eyebrows Sunday, even managing to take some of the attention away from
Wimbledon-winning Andy Murray.
Victoria
Beckham wore her "nightie," as the Daily Mail put it, to the men's
finals, saying she pushed the limits of the dress code for the elite
tennis-watching set in the royal box.
It actually
was a lacy Louis Vuitton creation.
Joined in
the Royal Box by chef Gordon's wife Tana Ramsay and fellow celebrity parents
Coleen and Wayne Rooney, the 39-year-old mum-of-four turned up the heat on
court with her fitted, low-cut, negligee-inspired Louis Vuitton frock, complete
with gorgeous lace trim and thin spaghetti straps to flaunt her impressively
toned shoulders.
VB finished
off her racy look with a black clutch bag, her trademark aviators and pointed
black stilettos, wearing her hair in an effortlessly glam loose up 'do. Wery
wise in that scorching heat, VB.
And the
former Spice Girl clearly enjoyed her time watching the historic tennis match
that had everyone hanging off the edge of their seats - she tweeted from her
seat at the end of the game: "Congratulations to @andy_murray and his
family. Wonderful day at #wimbledon!! So proud to be British! X vb."
